Watch 'Community' Openly Mock 'Glee' in a Musical Number

Watch 'Community' Openly Mock 'Glee' in a Musical Number "Community" made its final bow (for now) this week, as NBC has decided to shelve the show for the forseeable future. Given that it's the holiday season and that we might not see them for a while, did the show take the sentimental route and give us a warm and fuzzy episode?

Nope. They decided to lampoon "Glee." And it was great.

The episode followed the study group as they were recruited by Mr. Rad, the glee club coach played by "Saturday Night Live" cast member Taran Killam. Killam took Mr. Rad way past Mr. Schue and changed the smarm into all-out pep, complete with an ever-present sweater vest.

References to the various oddities and inconsistencies in "Glee" were peppered throughout the episode, including mentions of Regionals (which were inevitably followed by confusion as to what, exactly, Regionals are and why they are important at all) and a cappela background music during scene transitions.

This musical number between Mr. Rad and Abed (Danny Pudi) was perhaps the most blatant attack at "Glee," complete with Mr. Rad's piano magically continuing to play and lines like "everything's cooler when cameras are spinning."
